As it says above. I am in serious need of a new pro pole butt seat. Mine is ragged and has been hurting my back. I like the pro pole seats since my knees are bad I can only stand so long. But my knees also hurt if I don't stand up and move often so I like using the Butt Type seat to lean on and even sit on for short periods. Carl set on mine yesterday for about a minute and said that thing is awful. Lol. He is right so I am doing some research and asking opinions from the wealth of knowledge out there on UB.
I have looked at the Millinium butt seat and it seems like the most talked about one. Looking forward to input.
I have the LeanPro from BassBoatSeats.com on an adjustable height pedestal and I love it. I've had it about three years now. Prior to the LeanPro I had a Wise bicycle seat which had a weak back section and did nothing for my back.
I had a BPS Butt seat that I wore out over the 5 or so years I had it, my next seat will be a regular seat because of well worn knees and back.

significant back issues for past 15 years. I can walk all day. just can't stand still for more than 5 minutes.
been fishing from the Bill Dance position for a long time. makes it a little harder to pitch, flip, skip... but that's not an issue... just a technique adjust.
and it's nice to be able to 'move' after a full day of fishing... without need of pain meds...
I really like my lean seat. It's a tad bit shorter from front to back but wider, making it easy to lean without risk of having it turn and sliding off. Leaning takes weight off your legs without putting a kink in your back from sitting. My lean seat positions allows me to lean comfortably with either foot right over my recessed TM pedal. I can also lean with a foot on the gunnel or use it to sit.
Larry, I had the opportunity to test out the Millennium Marine seat that one of the pros had in his boat while I was working on an article. It was very comfortable. He said that it really helped him overcome injuries. That's what I would personally buy if I needed one.

I just found a deal on the Millenium Saddle seat that was on special for Cyber Monday. It has been ordered. Review to come.
This might be late, one of the things I found is I don't like a standing seat that is too big. Makes it more difficult to manuever around the front of the boat.
