I am not quite sure I have a SINGLE favorite.

SO... here are my two favorites:

Lake Tarpon
Eagle Lake http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&q=Eagle+Lake,+Fl&ie=UTF8&z=13&ll=28.000767,-81.772785&spn=0.109583,0.21595&om=1 (http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&q=Eagle+Lake,+Fl&ie=UTF8&z=13&ll=28.000767,-81.772785&spn=0.109583,0.21595&om=1)

I have fished the lakes an approximate 50 times TOTAL with Tarpon being fished slightly more often.

Tip: the NE corner at Lake Tarpon near the boat docks and deeper hydrilla hold many, many, many schoolie bass :D

How does Lake Watauga up here in TN sound?   Melissa's old man and I are going out tomorrow for some large mouth and rainbows.   The Walleyegators should be running up to the rivers as well soon to spawn.   Hope all is well!@!@!

My favorite lake in Florida is Lake Monkey Business.  ::)  I don't catch the biggest fish there or the most fish, but it is in my subdivision here in Tallahassee and I can be fishing within fifteen minutes of pulling out of my driveway.

Lake Okeechobee.  Not because of the bass, but because my granddaughter lives about 30 minutes from there.  If I'm fishing the Big O, it means I'm also visiting my daughter and her family.

Love bass fishing, but I love my family more.

Florida everglades not the best all the time but always fun and beautiful.Taking the kids to see all the wildlife out there also keeps them busy while i fish and teach them about our enviroment and how important it is to take care of it.

When I lived in south Florida it was the Everglades.
Up here in north Central Florida it's Lake Panasoffkee. Unfortunately they are dredging the shoreline at this time so the water is pretty cloudy and most of the vegetation is gone. When ever they get done and the clear water and weeds return it will be even better I suspect. Area's along the shoreline were always to shallow to fish but now with dredging there is 3ft of water there.

I still have to give Lake Victor a try but from what I hear that may become my new favorite.

We live in central Florida, and our favorite bass waters include the "Big-K", the "Walk" and "West Toho".
Nevertheless, there are countless productive bass waters in Florida that are under-exploited.
Most of the unsong waters have surface areas less than 4,000 acres, a subpar launch ramp and a poor verbal following  ;)

I used to say Lake Lulu since my old apartment was on it, plus I have caught my two biggest fish out of it.  But I moved and the local favorite is Lake Alfred.. it's hard when you live within a mile from 3 different boat ramps and one being on a chian.

If I am going to drive to a lake it's going to be Lake Kissimme.  I want to try the Big O of course but it's a godly drive it seems.  I have fished East Toho but really need to try Toho.. that my be my next dirve to spot.

Just realized I never posted in here.

I mostly fish the St Johns River System. The River itself can be good or a real challenge. Out of the system,  I would have to say the Lake Woodruff is my favorite, as long as the FWC hasn't paid the Air Boats to spray and killed everything on it.

Lake Monroe has come a long way over the last couple of years and can be good fishing if you hit it right.

Once I get a newer bigger boat I plan to hit some of the other lakes.

I used to fish Santa Fe in Alachua with my dad and grampa about 15 years ago. My dad and I bought a G3 bass boat a few months ago and I think I am going to take the trip down there this Saturday and see what I can do. After looking at Google Map I think I want to try the North end of the little lake where that natural spring is and toss some top water frogs around the docks and what looks like lilly pads or grass lines. Then maybe hit the pass and throw some soft plastics a little off the shore line around the points of the pass.

I knew a guy from FBN that fished Santa Fe all the time. .  He caught a bunch of big bass there off deep water brush piles using deep water crankbaits, and jigs.  He swore it was a constant producer for big bass.  If pounding the bank doesn't work out, look for off shore isolated clumps in 10 to 20 feet of water.  Good luck and let us know how you do.
