Title: Black Bayou (South Louisiana) Bass Fishing Reports
Post by: Brush Hawg on January 10, 2005, 08:37:56 AM
Jimmy Brown and myself fished Black Bayou near the Sabine Refuge Saturday morning.  Caught just two dinks.  Most fisherman reported the same results.  Everybody we talked to claimed to have caught bass by the hundreds earlier in the week.  Typical for us the temp was in the 50's with a nice 15 mph northerly wind.  We got home and the temp was mild 68 degree's by 1pm with no noticeable wind.

That sounds typical Brush Hawg. Sounds like you are getting some of our luck. Seems the fishing is always better where you have been or where you are going but never while you are present lo

Hang in there the winter can't last forever  ;)
