Title: Requested list of RI lakes
Post by: Low_Budget_Hookers on November 25, 2005, 05:52:06 AM
There is a book I obtained a few years back that has proven to be very valuable to me.  It's called

Fisheries investigations and managment in RI lakes and ponds.

This book provides a bottom topo and all the general info for appx 100 ri lakes and ponds.  This is a short list of just some of the ponds listed
Almy pond
Alton pond
Ashville Pond
Barden Pond
Barney Pond
Beach Pond
Belleville Pond
Blackmore Pond
Blue Pond
Boone Lake
Bowdish Reservoir
Breakheart Pond
Brickyard Pond
Canob Pond
Carbuncle Pond

And so on.

That book is ok but the studies in that book were all done in the 50's and 60's.   Lists lots of lakes but many are also small and with no access.  Where are you from
