Boating Safety / Re: Cold Water Safety

I wear mine whenever I am on the water.  The inflatables are light and comfortable.  But consider that in very cold temperatures, the inflatables provide less floatation due to les density in the gas.

Thank you. I will be making this up now. As a matter of fact I will make 2 one for the truck also, since I do some shore fishing in the winter.
zippy, when traveling in winter, i have the 'cold weather' stuff in the truck too:  blankets, water, candle, etc.  and extra clothes in case I need to 'suit up' and walk somewhere... or change a tire in a blizzard...  then too, those great waterproof/goretex hiking boots...
great tip DW.  might just save some lives... or even just make someone a lot less miserable.

Hope the last one got a decent burial. Maybe a full Viking funeral in the swamp.  ;) ;)

Looking at that makes me wonder I'm still drooling over the Ranger 482, some dreams just don't die.

Good morning!!! 43 headed to 50, cloudy, rainy, high winds. Shopping day, I'm looking forward to my sub, ham & cheese on a medium seeded bun, lettuce, onions(don't be bashful with them), olives, bacon, american or pepper jack cheese, I just drooled all over myself. lo lo ::)
Top, sounds like a great day being out with the frog meister, how was the catching?
Bud, how's the do nothing days doing? Hope Mrs. Bud is feeling better>
Donald, hope the acupuncture works for you. I used to like days like that, an easy one every so often was a nice surprise. I haven't been in the gym since the beginning of August, my back won't allow it just been doing the occasional walk and what I need to do for the back. Last evening after dinner it was Off to Church for Adoration of the Blood & Body of our Lord, the cost of our redemption, a quiet hour of prayer, I think it's something I'll be doing most every week, just a good time to settle back with Him and draw closer.
Have a great day, be well!!!
