Iím currently looking into buying a Dobyns rod for the first time. Iím looking into the Fury 734C and 735C for a jig rod.(possibly a Carolina Rig sometimes) Which one would you guys choose?
I mostly fish 3/8 oz - 3/4oz with a trailer around the edges of lay downs and deep rock piles.

Since I bleed wild blueberry and tangerine, this one is hard to build.

However, it was a special request by the resident chef so here it goes.

Wynn grips in UM Orange
ATC Aero comfort spinning seat
MicroWave Air guides
Wrapped in UM Green

A 4 power is a great all around versatile tool that can do multiple duty.. Either would do the job for those situations but I would  go with the 735C if you think you might end up fishing heavy cover or heavy jigs/baits.

Otherwise  the 734C is a great rod to start your Dobyns collection  with.

Hope that was helpful.

Had spent so much time sprucing up the boat over the past couple years that I had neglected the Expedition for a while.  The sun had cooked away the paint on the roof, the hood and the front bumper area so we had it re done this week.    This vehicle is 14 years old and hopefully it has a lot more years to give.  It sure is cheaper to fix em than replace them.
