That was a tough one. Caught some small ones and ,par for the course this year, dropped some good ones.I didn't think I had a chance with the fish I had. I am ready for 2020 to be over and hopefully a better year in 2021.

Guys, tks for sharing the tournament year with us.  Have ya been back up to Vernon Lake lately?  Gail has a friend that lives the next town just South of Leesville.  I think when she goes to visit her I'm going to plan a trip to fish Vernon Lake.

I'll give you guys a holler maybe if the timing is right we could spend the day together on Vernon.

Donald, Vernon has been drained for several years. They finally fixed the damn and other things they needed to fix and it is back up to full pool or at least close. I would imagine the fishing would be tough right now as it hasn't water in so long but give it another year and you should be able to go catch a bunch of small ones. I think that lake will be awesome in about another 5 years.
