I got up at 4 AM today and hit the water @ quarter till five. I fished until 630 and only landed 3 dinks (less than 5. lb each). Fast forward to after feeding the kids and I return to a different area than I fished this morning, the sun's up and the heat is on. Here I landed a 2# on UL tackle with a very long 5-6 min fight yards from shore with drag running and a bent rod. I was very excited to finally have a worthy opponent! Great fight and the fish was very agitated at having it's picture taken. Caught it on a pink/white YUM tube on a 1/4 oz jighead.
shore fishin's better than no fishin.

The only rewarding part of those 3 dinky fish was that I caught them on a plastic worm, a first for me! Thanks FISH!

you keep it up, it only gets better  ;D

Nice fish Bassdaddyo.  And like Fish said, keep it up with the worm.  Before long, you will be surprised out how productive a worm is.   :-*

great report BassDaddyo......that light tackle makes the catch that much more enjoyable way to go.....I still am trying to make myself fish more plastic worms....just don't have the drive to do so....but when I do it is rewarding.....don't do like I have done keep throwing the worms...like Fishaholic and Creel Limit Zero said it will get better....now if I could take their advice and throw more plastic.........
