Who got new combos?

OK, who got new combos for Christmas?

I managed to get my wife to get me the T3 Ballistic for Christmas, not only did she do that, but snuck and got me the rod to go with it. But wait.....thats not all. She went to Mikes house, from Hawg Tech, and got me a curved Hawg Handle to put on it. Also has red accents for it, and Mike knew to take the cork knobs off and put Shimano knobs on. Soo cool of them.

My great wife bought me a bcr 802, with my bucket list reel, a core 51. I order them, and received them a few weeks ago but couldn't play with them until today. I must have been very good. Happy holidays.

Nice! I'm a fan of the Ballistic rods, though they never got much love. Which model did you get?

You guys must also have a wife that loves you very much. My wife bought me a few combos for Christmas, A 7'8" Extra Heavy Denali Kovert with a Shimano Citica 200G7 and a Diawa 7'4" Cielo Frogging rod with a Daiwa Tatula Type R Reel. I'm going to put the Type R onto my 7'1" White Ice and stick the Shimano Citica onto the Cielo for Frogging and then Stick my Lew's Super Duty on the Denali Kovert for Punching/Pitching. Now I can't wait to go fishing. Merry Christmas Guys!!

Nice LMG! Looks super sweet. Interesting knob swap u got, I have preferred knobs and am considering putting some on an older Abu reel with those crappy plastic old school deals.

Didn't get a combo, but got a new Abu Garcia Orra reel... now I HAVE to go buy a rod to go with it

No rods, just reels.

2 of the deep spool Pro Qualifiers one of each in the lower gears, and a 4000 wave spin. I am pretty set on low profile bait casters now since I don't use them much.

OH and the wife and I got us a puppy to replace the two that passed away during the last year.

That is awesome on the puppy, my best friend who use to go fishing with me a lot, My dog, Buster Baggins was ran over this year and it really hurt me badly, I watched him get hit. My wife tried to get me a new dog but I just wasn't ready yet. Maybe this next year I'll get a new fishing buddy. It's crazy how we can miss an animal that much but he was family.

No Combo, but I managed to get a Denali Jadewood 7'11" XH Flipping Rod that I plan to toss the Alabama rig on. Paired with Abu Garcia ProMax and Sufix 832 50# Braid.

My in-laws got me a Abu Garcia Revo S and a St. Croix mojo bass rod 7ft. This is also my first baitcaster since i was 15 and got rid of all my fishing gear (stupid me). Looking to get another reel very soon.
