Launched from CL State Park at 06:45. Water varied from lightly stained visibility 3-4 feet on the points to heavily stained with a visibility of maybe a foot. in the coves and creeks. Surface temp ranged from 76 to a high of 83. Boated eleven bass  :) (REALLY!) :) with about an even mix of smallies coming off the ledges/walls and largemouth coming out of the rocks and deeper cover 5+ feet down. Green pumpkin Senkos/Irvcos fished wacky, NuTech Candy Craw Crazy Jig with a Havoc trailer, and a Blitz in Watermelon Red. Big fish of the day was a 2 pounder. Most were a pound or less. Came in about 3:00 PM, While the weights were miserable, it's the best day I've had on Claytor in a while. -Jim
