28th Annual Tri-Lakes Big Bass Festival May 27

The 28th Annual Tri-Lakes Big Bass Festival is set for Saturday, May 27th from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. on De Queen, Gillham and Dierks Lakes.

Sevier County Judge Greg Ray reported there's over $14,000 in prize money this year; including a grand prize of $1,500 for the largest fish overall. He said there's also going to be hourly prizes on each lake for first through fifth place.

Registration is $45 per person through May 26th or $50 per person on the day of the event. Ray said the chamber office will be open on Thursday, May 25th and Friday, May 26th.

Ray said boat check will begin at 5 a.m. at the Oak Grove and Rolling Fork boat ramps on De Queen Lake, Coon Creek and Little Coon on Gillham Lake and Jefferson Ridge on Dierks Lake.

At the awards ceremony, the chamber will be drawing for numerous door prizes at 2 p.m. at the De Queen Sportsplex.
