I have been using seagar red lable for moving baits and abrazx for bottom contact baits.  I use full flurocarbon, not as a leader.  Anyone have experience with invisx or tatsu ? Of the people that use seaguar which do you prefer of all of the seaguar lines ?

I've been using Tatsu on 4 of my baitcasters going on three years now and love it. Tatsu is low memory, casts great, knots well, and stands up very well to abrasion. I made a huge jump when I switched to Tatsu, I had been Berkley Vanish for several year prior and had been real happy with it, but somewhere along the line (no pun intended) it's abrasion resistance seemed to change drastically.

I decided to go cheap on my spinning rigs with Seagar Red Label simply because I go through more line on the spinning rigs and last year I switched my lightest rig to Power Pro braid.

I am a fan of Seaguar Invisx. I just re-spooled a bait casting set up today with 12# Invisix.

I ran 10# Invisix all last year on one of my finesse bait casting rigs. The line casts great, is very supple, and has great sensitivity. I had no issues with memory. The possible downside is that it does get nicked up fairly easily. I used it mostly in open water, and I re-tied often, so it did not cause me any lost fish.

For reference, I also used SunLine Super FC Sniper, PLine Flouroclear and PLine Tactical last year, and I prefer Invisx to all of these. When I re-spool my rigs for pitching docks or fishing shallow cover, I will probably choose the Super FC Sniper for it's durability, or I might try Abrasx. I've also been experimenting wth Izorline and Gamma co-Polymers, due to the lower cost. I use braid with flouro leaders on all of my spinning rigs.

You use tatsu alone or as a leader with braid ?  Man that stuff gets expensive

I've never tried invisX.  I started using abrazx because I fish alot of rocks and was looking for something tough .  Maybe invizx wouldnt be the best for me if it nicks easily ?

Invisx handles better than Abrasx and has a bit more stretch. I like it a little better on my crankbait rods.
Hard to find fault with Tatsu .Other than the cost, handles great and ties a good knot. I fish it in one direction for a while then turn it around when it needs it.
If I had to pick one flouro to do everything it would be Sniper.
Another good one for bottom contact is the Sunline Flippin FC. Handles decent and super tough.
It has a yellow stripe for every 30 inches of clear. Great for jig fishing. The only downside is that 16lb. is as light as it comes.

Red Label - I bought two spools of it and both spools were completely uncontrollable and a total waste of money

InvisX - It's a decent line but it's one of the most stretchy fluorocarbons out there. I prefer a lower stretch fluoro, so I don't use it.

AbrasX - Less stretchy and stiffer than InvisX. I like it for leader material because it's pretty tough stuff and it can hold up to a lot of abrasion on rocks and wood.

Tatsu - Best performing fluoro I have found, and I've pretty much tried them all. Low memory, low stretch, holds up well, good abrasion resistance. It's downfall is it's super expensive.

If you're looking for a great all around fluoro without shelling out Tatsu type prices, check out Sunline Sniper FC. It's my go to everyday fluoro.

I started with Red Label, and have used Invisx some too. I like them both.

I think the invisx cast a little better, for me anyway.

Though, I bought a 1000yrd spool of red label this time and used line butter (ardent) on it and man does it make a HUGE difference... HUGE!

Straight Tatsu. It is expensive, but with fewer re-ties and usually swapping it between reels before replacing, it's not that bad because I get more use out of it.

I don't mind paying more for anything including line, if I get what I consider to be my money's worth out of it.

I started out buying small spools but later bought a 1000 yard spool when it was on sale and got free shipping.

I noticed recently that one shop had it on clearance,  but not at the lower price I last paid... Hope it not being discontinued.

I have used invizx and red label straight to the reel. Invizx to me is a superior line. It transmits better than red label so it's easier to detect bites. It also casts better IMHO.

I do use red label as leader when saltwater fishing though and like it for that application.

Sunline Super FC Sniper is my choice of leader for Saltwater fishing. Excellent line.

Use red label 15&20lb on bait casters. Invi"woops" 8lb on a spinning as a leader with braid.  Buy it (red label) in 1000 yard spools on sale a and change it out often. Wouldn't do that with more expensive Tastsu.

I only use fluoro in spincasts and as a leader off of braid and red label is my choice

Not a fan of fluorocarbon but I use 6lb Stren fluorocast on my ML spinning set up. Use a size 30 reel and you won't have twists and tangles like you would with a smaller diameter reel. Higher quality mono is just so much easier to manage IMO

I don't see a lot of people talk about it,but I like Seaguar Fluoro-Premier for a leader(freshwater). Its a bit thinner than most floro lines,so I can run 12# and its the same diameter as most 10#.
