I am just beside myself about the level of support that I have received while sprucing up my 1991 Ranger.  A very short time ago, I finally took the step and ordered a couple new windshields.  I was so surprised today when Fed Ex delivered my new windshields.  Just how good is that.  I am so appreciative that my 27 year old boat still has so many parts still available.  Also that there are multiple places in the country where new old stock parts from ranger can be purchased.  My order followed traditional norms by simply placing my order direct to Ranger parts.  I paid $92.00 each for my new windshields.  I appreciate the pure fact that they were shipped from inventory and were received packaged very well and in perfect condition.  Can't wait to bring the boat home and get them installed..  Oh by the way.  All the new mounting hardware was also provided.    ~c~ ~c~ ~c~ ~c~ ~c~ ~c~ ~c~

Glad you are getting her updated!  I just bought an old used Ranger and while I won't have it on the water until this weekend, but I've been upgrading since I bought it a month and half ago.

Glad to hear that the upgrade is continuing on your Ranger.  You have a really nice boat there Bud.  That trailer really sets it off too.

Donald, The windshields are kind of the last things for a while.  I have replaced just about everything except the seats and they are still in first class condition.  I may consider new front and rear deck seats but these will be just fine for a while.  Only the mrs could demand they be changed as well.   All I want to do now is take the boat fishing and now that is not looking very good since the flood.  I will get some fishing in at Santee and probably Lake Norman but I would likely be a back seater on those waters but with all the new stuff I could tow the ranger to each of these places.  I know the Mrs want to go but the pets kinda makes that a bit tough since we don't want to kennel the dog but he cat could be kenneled if we had to.  I would not be surprised to head towards Florida sometime in the spring after the pre spawn and spawn rush is over.
