I'm stuck on the two power from Loomis.
I own both the 904 which is my Jig rod an the 903 which I throw paddle tail's with. I'm chasing Spotts here in northern California and the two rods fit perfectly in my line up.
What I'm stuck on is I want to get a rod for throwing 3/8 mid depth cranks ( Curve 55 ), jerk baits, poppers an possibly throw heavier soft plastics vs using my spinning rod. Out of the baits listed the small crank will probably be used the most yet I very rarely throw these baits so I don't need a technic specific rod.

I've been pondering the 842C MBR IMX... Anyone have experience with is rod ?
Thanks

My 2 Loomis closest to that stick are mbr783imx, 802imx pro. That 842 should be perfect for what you listed.

If I had to pick one... I would agree with the 842 I'm just not crazy about it for crankbaits.
I'd look at the 843 CBR also, But it's soft for a jerkbait rod.
I'm good at spending other peoples money so for me it's really 2 rods, the CBR and the 802 TWR.
The 802 is a great popper/jerkbait rod.
