Hey Mike

I'm trying to put out a better fishing report, one that meets all the forum requirements. If I missed something let me know.

Thanks!

Gene

Will do, I did set some minimums for entry into the contest but they are easily achieved. If you're report doesn't meet those rules you won't see an entry in your thread. If they do meet those rules and I didn't give you an entry, throw something at me ~bb

However that said give me a day or three to get the entry, I like to fish too... ;)

I had not been on the big pond in a while. Hickory tends to run the same on both ends. Norman has 500 miles of shoreline. I fished mostly upriver growing up. I could not afford gas to fish it all. NC Wildlife has really done an outstanding job of putting in excellent landings all over Norman. When I get the boat dialed in and the summer heat gets too hot to fish I might do a report on each landing. I'm trying to figure out if I want to do it on the water or just drive to each. Right now driving gets the nod. AC is my friend!

Yes A/C and truck get's better milage. In the A.M. the ride is nice but in the afternoon with traffic, the truck ride is better. All our lakes have multiple launches and while we won't necessarily let our launch choice limit our fishing, we do tend to decide where to launch based on where we might spend the day.
