Got up yesterday to 70 degrees and calm winds. Forecast was 22 mph winds. I said I am going fishing before the front hits. Crappie Carl and I headed over to the lake. Perfect calm morning. Had a couple small Bass. Around 11 am. You can see the front coming and a slight breeze begins. I had a big fish on but came unbuttoned fairly quick. Carl caught a small bass. Wind about 15 -20 now and clouding up. Lots of bites but they are not eating it. Around 1pm the front passes and the wind is howling and the temp dropped 10 degrees. Carl pulls out his Crappie jig rod and hits a 2lb bass on an ultra lite with 4 lb test. The bass had stopped so I got mine out and we started trolling the jigs. we ended up catching 2 crappie and about 15 bass all 2lb or less.. We were getting constant Blue gill /Shell Cracker bites the whole time but only caught 1.  Then the clouds cleared and a blue bird sky ended any kind bites we were getting around 3 pm. Loaded up and home where it was warm. Yeah Central Florida is getting nothing compared to the rest of the country. My Daughter back home in Indiana said yesterday was -10 in the morning. Stay Warm You all.
