Nate and I fished the K Chain in the Osceloa Angler scholarship fundraiser yesterday.

Thursday, I had pre fished all of our spots with little success, but I knew the big fish were there, somewhere.

Started in Hatch with the swim baits and vibe.  Picked up a couple of keepers in the shallow pads. 

Moved to Cypress and picked up a couple more shallow.  Moved out on a flat and got two more.  Not a lot of weight, but we were culling by 10 o'clock.

Around 11, we moved to the strike out or home run spot in C-35.  The topwater bite was very slow, but BIG.  3 more culls with two over 6 lbs.

Back to Hatch flipping mats for our final spot where we got another dink.

We were 11th out of 106 boats when we weighed in. 20.13 lbs with 24+ leading.  I'm not exactly sure where we finished, but it was definitely in the top 15.

Fun day on the water and raised a lot of money for college scholarships for our young anglers.
