Everglades (7/4/23) OTG Madness!

Short trip this morning. Arrived at the ramp at 0 dark thirty. The moon was crazy bright!



Water temps were 87-89, humidity was nuts, and the temps today were ridiculous.

But!! The fishing was unfreaking believable. To make the outing even more special. It was a top water bite!!



Fishing action was consistent right up until I had to leave.

I'll share. I started with the HB frog and noticed swirls right away. However, the bass were not committing what so ever. I switched over to the boyo had a strike, but again, the bass were not fully committing. Made one last switch to a popper, and it was lights out.

Yeah the water is up all over the place, with no end in sight. Find areas with little to no marsh access and the fishing has been a little better.
