Conditions:
Fishing time: 0630-1130am
Water Temps: 85-89
Outside temps: HOT!!  ~sweat
Wind: None!
Current: Very, very light
Water levels: Down, it seems for that area
Water Clarity: Very clear!
Bass Boated: 17
Top 5: 6-8lbs  :(

Had a chance to fish today, so I headed out to the Holy Lands. Arrived pretty early. Not a soul was out there. I ran straight to an area that has been producing for me lately. I started with a Mega Vibe worm in the pads for a change of pace, but nothing was happening. Switched to a swimbait. Nothing. Switched to the bottom, nothing! Uh oh,,, what's going on here??

I can tell you guys that the wind and current were non-existent. Everything was just still and quiet. Decided to roll up my sleeves and began power fluking. That seemed to work, believe it or not. The only problem was that bass were tiny!! Proceeded to cover water only to catch little bass.

I would occasionally have a big blow-up, but I couldn't connect.  ~xyz  ~rant. These bigger fish were peacocks, but I only had one shot to connect with them, or they would be gone.

Tried to shoot some video, but both my cameras would overheat quickly. It was that hot!! So with only little bass biting, over heating cameras, and the draining heat and humidity, I called the trip at 11:30.

The bite was tough, but I did manage to put a little pattern together. My next report will be from the Kissimmee Chain this weekend since I'm traveling north to see FD and take part in the BBB event.

Thanks for reading!!

Tks for sharing the trip and the pictures with us.  Glad you were able to at least get out on the water.
Congrats on the catching also  ;)
