Good morning to everyone,

Partly sunny skies with forecasted temps of 72-93dgrs with 57%humidity with a NE wind @ 9mphs.

Somewhat busy morning here.  Made a quick trip to the gas station filled the Silverado up. Gas is now $3.17 for regular unleaded; diesel is $3.87.  Stopped in HEB (Grocery Store) picked up some apples and bananas and a rotisserie chicken for supper tonight.

I got the wife some roses and a gift card for our 48th Anniversary tomorrow.  Time sure has flown by it doesn't seem like it's been 48yrs.  I'm sure lucky to have her though  ;)

There is nothing else planned for today.  I walked through the yard and it needs mowing again.  I have it on my schedule for Thursday's work  ~shade

Rodney; My good man tks for stopping in a providing an update.  Best wishes for ya on the upcoming doctor's appointment.  Hope things turn out positive for ya and your able to start driving again.  I hear ya on the relaxing thing  ~shade   I went out into the garage yesterday and respooled one of rigs with braided line to use on the Weedless Spoon setup.

Yes sir things are looking up health wise for me.  Improvement in some areas are being made and other we're holding steady.  Tks for the daily prayers.

Alrighty, I hope everyone has a really pleasant day and relaxing evening ahead.  Y'all be safe and enjoy the family time together.

Good morning!!! 46 headed to high 60s, partly cloudy, another nice fall day at the end of summer. Another nothing day, yawn, guess I'll take another nap. Stating to get the itch to work on the boat, yesterday I went out with several pieces of different size aluminum angle to see what I'm going to have to buy, turns out it isn't going to work that well. Time to sit back and revaluate what I'm going to do :(  I had it all figured out until I actually dug deeper. At least I hadn't spent the money, keeps me working on it.
Donald, so are you guys planning a trip or anything to celebrate the big day?
Have a great day, be well!!!

Been a bit under the weather due to not being able to sleep very much.  I have only been getting 2-4 hours a night and aside from a couple small cat naps it has be a bit worn out.  Had a decent night last night and got almost 7 hours so I am feeling good at the moment.  Mrs. wants me to trim the shrubs at the front of the house.  Not a big job but there are 8 of those rascals.  Trimming is the easy part but she does not want the clippings to fall into the mulch that surrounds the shrubs and I have to put down sheets and towels to catch the falling clippings.  Then I put them into a trash bag and schlep them to the recycle center.  So now a job that would take 30 minutes will now take 3 hours.  Oh well, I will just keep my mouth shut and do what I am told.  After all she has earned her "She Who Shall Be Obeyed" reference.

Still wanting to bring the boat home again this week and I still want to go bowling at least once.  I also have to wash down the exterior of the house and garage to remove some dirt and mold.  This is a twice a year deal but not a bad job especially if the temps are comfortable.  I use Mold Armor as the cleaning product and it always does a great job without the need to wipe or brush the siding.  Just spray on let it sit for about 10 minutes and rinse off.  Does not hurt the plants and does a great job.

Donald Congratulations on the anniversary.  Hope you two can have a happy celebration.  Rodney, I know you want to do stuff with the boat but you know the deal.  Get healed first the boat will still be there waiting on you.  We need to get you on the water in the Spring unless you decide to have something else cut on.

Good morning to everyone,

Blue Bird Skies are covering down across Central Texas this morning  ~sun Forecasted temps for today are 72-94dgrs with 62%humidity with a West wind @ 3mphs.

There's nothing really planned for today.  We had breakfast and the wife has a hair appointment at noon.  We're having dinner at Frank's a really nice restaurant over looking Belton Lake down by the dam.  Other than this it's going to be a relaxing day.

Bud; Hope you get to feeling better soon.  You sure are a busy man getting the yard work done.  I hate trimming hedges also especially the clean up.  Hope you able to get the Ranger back out on the water soon and your able to get to the bowling lanes.  Tks for the anniversary comment I appreciate it.

Rodney; Good luck with revaluating the upgrade on your boat.  You'll have it refigured here in no time.  There's no big plans for today we'll have a nice dinner at Franks Restaurant over looking Belton Lake.  Tks for the anniversary comment also I appreciate it.

To everyone Y'all have a safe and pleasant day today.  I hope your evening will be a relaxing one also.

Good afternoon to all,

Another beautiful sunny day across Central Texas today  ~sun   Our forecasted temps are 72-94dgrs with 37% humidity with a SE wind @ 9mphs.

It was a busy morning here.  The day started at 6:30 with a quick run to Jack and Jill's donut shop.  They make the best sausage, egg and cheese croissant sandwiches.  I picked up an apple fritter to go with the 2 croissant sandwiches and a bottle of orange juice for my breakfast  ;PEP)  :food

After finishing breakfast I fired up the weed eater and trimmed the yard.  I prune a couple trees next door that neighbor hasn't touched in years. The limbs were over hanging on my side of the yard which was a PITA to mow under.  The John Deere riding mower fired right up and we got the yard cut.  It took me 2.5 hours to get the task completed.

The wife got home from her exercise class and fixed a Breakfast Lunch for us.  We had a Sausage Egg Casserole with tater tots, biscuits with butter and jelly  ~shade   I'm good to go for the rest of the day for sure.

There is nothing else planned for the rest of the day.  I'm heading towards the recliner for an afternoon nap.  I hope everyone has a really pleasant and relaxing day and evening ahead.  Y'all be safe in your travels if you have to get out and about.

There is nothing else planned for day except attending this event.

Just finished up with today's chores.  The task today was to finish washing down the house siding.  While I was doing this the Mrs. was cleaning out a flower bed so we were both occupied with our duties.  I wash down the house two times a year.  Once in the spring after the pollen dies down and once in the fall to clean off the mildew and dirt from the hot and humid summer.  I use Mold Armor house cleaner and just hook it up to a water hose and have at it.  It does a great job and does not require any wipe down or other scrubbing.  Just spray it on let set for 10 minutes than rinse off.  You do have to hose down the shrubs and flowers with clean water before and after applying the cleaning product.  I have used for a few years now and it does a great job. It is available most places but I buy from amazon just so I don't have to run around in the big box stores.

Supposed to be a nice week so I will probably be able to take the boat out even.  There are coastal flood warnings out at this time but that is due to the Super Moon and King tide.  Over at the beach the Ocean drive streets will indeed get flooded.

My sleeping problem seems to be getting a bit better.  I slept 7 hours last night and almost 7 hours the night before.  Sure is better than the 2 or 3 hours I had been getting.

Hope everyone has a great day today and a relaxing day tomorrow.

Good afternoon to all,

We have over cast skies covering down around Central Texas today.  Forecasted temps for today are 69-92dgrs with 32%humidity with an E wind @ 11mphs.

We attended church this morning and had lunch at Clem's BBQ place.  The wife had the Salmon plate while I enjoyed the catfish and shrimp basket  ;PEP)  :food

There's nothing planned for the afternoon except relaxation and a little recliner and tv time  ;)

Dog; Tks for stopping in and providing an update buddy.  That's great news that you didn't have to have any surgery done after that last accident.  Dwayne is doing well so far.  He's working hard and spending time with his 2 kids. Things are looking good health wise for me.  We're improving in some areas and holding steady in others.  Life is good   ~shade

Bud; Glad to hear your sleeping issue is getting better.  I know the feeling of not sleeping well sometimes and it sux's.  I hope you continue to get to feeling better.  You're a busy man with those outside chores.  I've washed our house down a couple times and it is time consuming for sure.  Hope your able to get the Ranger out soon as well as a trip to the bowling lanes.

To everyone hope your Sunday is going well for y'all.  Be safe in your travels today if you have to get out and about.

Donald, the ranger is currently in the driveway and I have the batteries on the charger.  We have a good weather week ahead and you can be sure the boat will hit the river maybe as soon as Monday afternoon but more likely on Tuesday.  Tides running a bit hard but should not be a problem until you have to get back on the trailer.  It can be a real challenge sometimes but for sure you can't be timid on a quick tide.  As I have said before it is a bit like a half controlled crash otherwise you just might get sideways on the trailer if you go at it too easy.

No work going on today just taking it easy and playing with the boat.  Not bowling today but will do so sometime during the week ahead.  I sucked so bad on my last outing.  Hopefully it will be better this week.
