2024 Tracker ProTeam 195 TXW Slow Top Speed

I just recently purchased a 2024 Pro Team 195 with the 150 ProXs and I am still trying to learn these hulls as this is the first tracker and "non pad" boat that I have owned. I am running a 24 p Tempest plus that came on the boat with the motor in the 2nd hole from the top. I am turning 5800-5900 rpms and I am only getting 47-48 mph. Trim will go to half on the gauge and throw a massive rooster tail (non optimal) but I can't get it to even to the point it will porpoise. Are any of you guys running the proxs mounted in the 3rd hole from the top? Is there a trick no trimming these boats? I am used to just trimming close to where I need to be then feeling it out an not sure if that is causing my issue. Thanks in advance
