Mountain Lake Bass Fishing Reports 3-15-07

Water temps 56-60 degrees,Air temp 70.Water clear. Bass were fairly active before wind shifted to the north.

Where in location to OKC is that lake? I am new to the state and looking to find some good water.

Clay,
Go south of OKC on I-35 to around the 42 mile marker exit(I could be off a little)
Go west on Hwy 53 to Woodford(Just an old vacant store and vol fire dept on hwy)There is a small Mtn Lake sign there.Go north to lake.

jcpass,I've heard that in order to fish Mountain Lake a person has to rent a boat from there.Could you shed some light on this subject for me please?

You can bring your own,I did. Just nothing over 10hp.
Their boat ramp is out of servive so you have to tote it to the water or they can winch it in/out for $2.00 each way.

Thats why I don't fish there any more because their is no place to put the boat in.......
