well i something got wrapped around my foot on my 175 and burnt my motor up and that i just had it rebuilt last year :'(. this was on my dads boat. anyway my mechanic had this boat and the people hadnt come and got it after four years so he sent the paperwork and notified them and all and we ended up with the procraft it had a merc 135 on it and we put it on my dads boat and i found me a motor to put on the procraft its a 115 evinrude. i painted the calon the top was white. the carpet was ruined and the beautiful red gelcoat had faded beyond repair. well my and my dad took two days and rubbed out the top cap and sides made it look decent. man that took some elbow grease.then we took a week installing carpet. thats me working my night job and getting up early working on it. then we fixed the odds and ends. i saved about 800 bucks from the parts off the boat i got the 115 off of so that was good. the real fun part was the 8 hours of putting the motor on since it was a mercury that was orignally on the boat it hooked right up with my dads boat but when i put the evinrude on the procraft man what a job. im sure some people gripe about the 40-60 dollors and hour mechaincs charge but by gosh i see why now! thats alot of work it looks like " all you got to do is loosen a few bolts and then this and that and your done" WRONG! anyway we traded my old foot and powerhead for the boat and 2500 he done the motor switching and let us use tools and he even give us alot of parts. well it ran 42 on the gps but i raised it up on the jackplate it gets about 46 now at 5600rpm. im pretty happy with the boat i bet if it wasnt so heavy it would run in the 50's

Hey Poe,

Your boat is looking sweet, great looking paint-job and you did a great job with the carpet install. Well done  ~c~ ~c~
