Hi there..
My name is Gary, A bass fanatic from Western Sydney..Australia.I was advised to post on your fantastic forums by one of my fellow club members, who you guys have helped greatly...
Im in need of some infomation/feedback on Charger Boats,in particular the 176 with a 150hp Optimax.
Recently over here there has been a big surge in the sales of bass boats from the U.S.A. .Mostly Stratos,Skeeter with others .
My local boat shop is bringing Charger boats to Australia, and keen to make sales and get boats out on the water for others to see...As a result he has prepared to give me a great deal on the above mentioned boat/motor package...
First thing I've noticed on the 176 and other charger boats is the cut-away ,angled transom....Does this help or hinder the boats performance..??.
How do they compare to other brands...(the good .the bad,the ugly )?
Any help, information would be GREATLY APPRECIATED...
PS.

any pictures of the 176 or where to view some, other than the Charger boats website would be great..

Thanks Gary..

Dug

Hi Gary,

Hopefully someone with any knowledge on the charger boats will be along shortly, meanwhile  I just wanted to welcome you to Ultimate Bass.  We love hearing about bass fishermen from other countries and personally I love OZ.  I spent almost 3 years out in Western Australia and dearly would love to go back one day.  What do you fish for?  I wanted to go barramundi fishing but never made it off the cape.  All Salt water fishing while i was there, but the best Salt Water fishing I have ever experienced.

Anyway welcome to the site. Hope you stay a good long time.

Dug
In the end, it's not going to matter how many breaths you took, but how many moments took your breath away.

Hi Dug,

Thanks for the welcome..I split my fishing time between freshwater targeting bass in rivers/impoundments and bream in the saltwater..
Glad you enjoyed your time in W.A..   My wife has family over there ,we're hoping to get over later this year..You're fight about the fishing in W.A ..awesome..
