Stren Tournament at Clear Lake

I'm back and had a great time.  I practiced with Mike O'Shea, fished day 1 with Mark Walsh, day 2 with Steve Klein, and day 3 with Aaron Coleman.  The fist day I culled 4 times, and my pro only weighed 3 fish.  The second day I lost a fish and it cost me several places since I ended up weighing 4.  The last day was a blast... I had a limit by around 10 AM, culled 3 times, caught one bed fish, and helped my pro work a couple of bed fish.  The big one was around 7 and ended up getting nipped a bit too hard and left.  The next was close to 5 and got pretty ticked at a swimbait tearing up his bed... in the boat.     Anyway, not the slugfest it was last year, so lots of finesse stuff but I finished 39th and got a check that will cover my entry and replace the baits I went through.  Looking forward to the Delta next month!
