I'm looking at some second hand bass boats and have found this one in Korea.

1997 Nitro 700 LX dual console
Tracker 120 motor (not sure the condition, but assume it's good).
MG trolling motor
Nitro trailer in good condition

What would you say was the value of this boat ??

= $10,600 (+ or - a few dollars)

I guess I'll forget it. I need to find out how much it will cost me to ship one to Korea from the States.

I bought this boat back in 1999 for $10,100. She has been very good to me. I fish year round out of her. Never winterize it because she runs in the cold running Ohio river all winter.
That is book value without the extras added. When I put in everything I have on her it went up to 5,000 and that wasn't with the 120 hp, I didn't see where to upgrade bigger motor on there. The Manufacture plate says it is rated up to 125 hp.

Them American boats over there must be over priced too much. Nitro is a good boat but lower end priced compared to a Legend, Triton or Ranger. These smaller Nitro's compare more to smaller skeeter or so on. The big Nitro's like Fogy is running is worth way more than this 700 LX DC (DC means dual console)

Thanks for the  :help:  Chip.

The boats in Korea mostly come from the states and because of this there are import and customs charges and taxes (plus a profit somebody along the way I'm sure  ~shhh ).
In total it is still 100% more expensive and your boat looks better than the one advertised in Korea.
I'm sure if I shipped one over to Korea from the States it would be cheaper but will include a few headaches  ~sweat

There are other boats over here like champion, ranger, javelin and some others, but the Nitros (especially the 640) seem to be the most popular and for the lakes that we have in Korea, a 17 footer would be ideal.

Here's some photos of it.

Man that is amzing that a boat like my little girl is over in Korea  ~c~ too bad about the cost to ship. I have a friend that plays on e-bay and he sold a boat to a guy in England. The guy had someone pick it up and pull it to Florida to ship overseas. So I guess it can be done at some cost.
Good luck finding yourself a new to you boat Steve. maybe Mike and Laurie can get you a deal on a legend if you come to the states and buy one to ship back  ;D
