Finally caught a decent bass this year. Not sure what it weighted in at, but where it seemed like nothing has been working for me this year, the 3lbr. (A guess) slammed hard on a KeRu blueblack viberashock with a black 7" Culprit trailer.  Caught on the carrotstix 7'3" MH stick with a Daiwa Capricorn baitcaster.

Had a heck of a day though, my worst birdnest ever.  Now I know what professional overrun means.  I was casting and happen to snag and cast into the water my favorite spinning setup, luckily the lure completely wrapped the cork and I was able to pull it back in from about 8 ft of water.

The overrun only took about 35 mins to get undone, but I did it!!  I had been using this set up to teach my visiting sone how to use a baitcaster.  Funny he never got an overrun anywhere near this one!!

Oh yes we have. I remember my first cast with Florocarbon. lets just say I had to re-spool. There was no way I was picking it out.
