had some buddies over there saturday.  Miserable conditions, cold and windy.  Water temp had been up as high as 57 but was back down between 48-52 over most of the lake.  They caught several small ones on plastics and spinnerbaits but overall the bite was pretty slow considering there were fish everywhere earlier in the week before the cold front.  With this weeks warm weather it ought to be game on pretty soon.

It seems like we've had an entire month here in NWA where the weather looked good during the week and then deteriorated on the weekends.  Last weekend with the snow and cold weather was ridiculous.   

This weekend will be the first real springlike weekend so I bet we all pound them all across the state.
