Hey Happy 4 July to everyone.  Hope you have a great 4th with plenty of drinks and eats.

I'll be hitting the lake on Sunday for the last time for at least the next few months.  After surgery I'm to stay off the water in case I was to fall in in.  Maybe I can go fishing again in the fall if I'm lucky

Hope you catch those summer monsters.  Sure will miss the fishing.  Keep me posted as I'll be fishing vicariously thru you all

Dean

That's a bummer, Cal.  Hope all works out well with your surgery.  I'm taking the job of fishing for you seriously, since I'm out of classes for a month and a half.  Two trips to Cachuma have caught loads of bass.  That lake is definitely back!  Lost the big fish when it came unbuttoned >:(, but got a 4#, 2 over 3# and lots of 2 pounders... from 1PM to 5PM Thursday I caught around 13-15 and a friend of mine caught about 5. ;D  Friday from 6AM to 1:30PM I caught around 20. ;D

Well come on guys whats the news, pm me if you have to, seems like a rather dead board.  Where's everyone at, Stan you on vacation?  seems about the right time of yr, Tom what you doing, Dean anyone.... hellooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Stan

Tom and I have been fishing ABA out at Cachuma.  Four tournaments so far and we got a first, fourth, fifth and a tenth.  Cashed checks 3 out of 4 though so that's pretty good.  There still are 2 more tournaments at the beginning of Aug but I won't be here that's when I'll be on vacation, so Tom might fish those 2 solo.  Then it's off to Clearlake in early Nov for the championship.  Other than that it's been all about pre-fishing, strictly Cachuma, and a couple of short vacation trips in between.

Looks like you two are doing pretty well.  With my surgery not completely finished, looks like I'll be missing the rest of the year, out for the next 4 weeks; Aug/Sep,, then two months from now Sep/Oct I have to go thru it all again to finihs the job, then another 4-6 weeks; Nov-Jan 10.  Dosen't look like I'll be doing any trny that start late this year. with no bending, no lifting, no FISHING  ~rant ~rant ~rant.  Can't be on any surface requireing balance.  Right now I have blurred vision and dizziness, seeing the screen is a chore, walking down the hall is a hoot in its self, looks more like a drunking spree walk than surgery.

Good luck on the championship at CLear Lake.  What techniques have been working best for you guys?  (pm me if you want)

well can't keep the blurring at bay any longer,  will chat later
