It's Friday...Get Up and Get it Over With

Morning everyone.  Not too bad to start the day here in NW Louisiana...it's 79.  But that will be the high for the day as a cold front moves thru and the temps start dropping into the mid to upper 60's.  And starting about 9 or 10 this morning, the rain chances go to 100%.  Looks to be just a lovely day.

Yeeee haaaa. Its gonna start storming about the time I get in bed today. I haven't had been able to sleep over a couple of hours at a time for over a week now. If only I had a tin roof.

45* here, supposed to hit lows of 29 this weekend. Way to early in the year for this cold though. Global warming my

I sure hope not!!  We did that last year!   It makes the  Fogy fire nice , but it sure makes the early morning runs cold!!

Well, the leading edge of the cold front is moving thru now.  It is raining pretty hard and the wind is ridiculous.  A bit ago, I suspect we had at least 40 mph winds.  The windows under my patio are wet and that never happens.  Was expecting to see a tree or two blow over at any time but it looks like they all survived.  The temps dropped 12 degrees in less than 30 minutes.  And I think I got leaves in the pool from 3 or more miles away.

It moved through here about 4 am.  we got just over an inch of rain and 40 mph winds but now they have settled down to 10 mph out of the north.

Good Morning UB. The wind died down in these parts so now it's just cool, damp and soggy out there. Just have to put a few extra layers along with the rain gear for a little fishing this weekend...Before it all freezes up in a few months.

I wish it was 69 here. We have been breaking record temps here in Florida.. But I found some big bass in the Manden Cane which is good for my Tournament tomorrow

Afternoon folks, sorry about the late start...Working in Ok. and the weather was rough.  4 inches of rain last night, temps to 44 w/high temp at 56 today.  Looking forward to getting back to Louisiana on Wed.  Y'all have a great weekend
