OK... Looking for suggestions for a good, or even the best, crankbait rod.  Let the opinions begin...

FYI, right now I am liking the St Croix Premier Glass Crankbait Rods, 7'M.

  Thanks in advance,

I don't know about the best but I have a 6.6 M Accadia rod that I am pretty happy with. Most people seem to perfer the 7 ft. though.
I don't mind not knowing all the answers, but I keep forgeting the danged questions.

Skeet Reese Tessera..I have one paired up with a Revo SX and it is the best combo I have ever thrown a crankbait with. I was using a Quantum Energy PT cranking rod, and will pick up the Tessera over it any day. and @ $89.99, who can complain??

St Croix, Falcon, Daiwa are my prefferred. So, you are fishing one of ( if not ) the best. A 7 Ft medium is a good all around rod, but you may have to use something shorter/lighter if you are casting say 1/8th oz. baits. I have a Stupid thumb from time to time, so i have to vary my rod and reels for the situation. Good fishin!

THE best crankbait rod on the planet right now is the Rapsody Fishing 7' Med/Heavy Moderate action rod.

skeet reese crankbait rod is my favorite that I've ever used for any kind of cranking.  can't wait till I can get the new skeet cranking stick.  they now have a 7'10" skeet reese cranking rod.

Without a doubt, the best crankbait rod for you is the one you like best!  Everyone has their own preferences, but you are the one that will be fishing with it.  I prefer Falcon Lowriders, but I don't have technique specific rods-decided I just didn't need them.  For me a treble hook bait goes on a M action rod.

I've learned you really don't need a real sensitive rod for cranks-I've never not known when a fish hits one-so while I want a quality rod I don't have to break the bank.

I guess it really depends on what your throwing...... deep crankbaits?  i don't have a recommendation for you, but lipless shallow runners, I haven't found a better rod yet than my E21 Carrot Stix 6'9" parabolic.....

In the end, it's not going to matter how many breaths you took, but how many moments took your breath away.
