Which Do It jig mold is better for flipping? which do you prefer out of the ones that they sell?

Paxamus

Some people love the cross eye arky, others like the poison tail, and others the brush jig.  I would get someone to pour or buy some of each jig and see which one you like the best before buying.  I have made the mistake in the past of buying a mold and not using it.

I've got almost every mold that Do It makes, a bunch of the Hilts, a few customs and then some!   ::)

I agree with Paxamus, you should try the different types of jigs then decide which works best for you, or if you have jigs you already like, pick the mold that is closest.

Just an example, the Poisontail Jig is very similar to the Weedless casting Jig in basic shape. The Poisontail head is a little more detailed, but they also both use different style hooks. The Poisontail uses a wide gap, while the other a round bend hook. As far as the shape, they'll both go thru similar types of snags, but you may find you like the difference in hooks, one over the other.

Another example, the Weedless Bullet Jig & The Weedless Casting Jig are also similar, except the Casting jig head is more flat on the sides, while the Bullet jigs is round. Slight difference, but one may go thru the cover you fish most better than the other. Of course, it's also possible you may see little difference at all.

Many times, selecting a jighead design for a particular type of water you fish, really just comes down to personal choice.

I would have been glad to send you some jig heads to try, but have been moving things around & am not setup to pour right now.

Of course you could do like I've done & just buy them all!  lo

I agree with the others. Try different heads and see what you like for you style of fishing and water conditions.  I personally pour the Flat-Eyed Arky head.  Love how well it comes over cover and pitches. Just me though, hope you find the one that you're looking for.
