Adding Trolling Motor to an inflatable boat?

My inflatable boat says it is not rated for a motor propulsion.  I am wondering if I would be safe to just add a light powered trolling motor to it and still be fine.  Anyone know about this?  The boat I have is rated at: 8', 4 person (would be very cramped), 650lb total weight. I will give more specifics about the boat tomorrow when I get out to look at the box that is in the car.....

Hard to say but it might not hurt to throw this one over in the Kayak, Canoe, and Other Small Watercraft board too.  Been a couple guys talkin about inflatable boats over there!
