Im looking to buy a 7 MH for lights jigs and t rigs. I'm mostly concerned about the sensitivity of the rods since it will be for jigs/worms. Is this rod good enough or should I save up and buy something better like maybe another savvy series?

Well If you want to get another Dobyns, more power to you. However, I am a fan of these rods and my 7 M micro guide is more than sensitive enough and very lightweight. I use my mine for cranks and light jigs as well.

I have 4 of them and I LOVE them. 2 are 7'M for topwater and spinnerbaits and 2 7'6" MH for jigs and punching/frogs. The 7'6" is super light for it's size and still has plenty of back bone to haul a fish through heavy grass

I liked the price and the feel compared to my dobyns savvy and was wondering how the sensitivity would compare.

Cannot compare it to the dobyns because I never had one, but I do have a couple of carrot stixs and I think they're better than the carrot stix.

Like n5ozb, I have never used the Dobyns but I have several of both the 7" and 6' 9" Veritas Micro-Guide series rods. I have used them to fish various style jigs and plastics with excellent results. IMO they are very sensitive and have plenty enough backbone to get the fish in the boat. That's my .02

Just got one for worm fishing and it is crazy good. I had a BP carbonlite that the tip broke on so when I took it back I immediately grabbed the veritas. Best decision ever.

At this price point I'd say give an Omen Black a shot, been fishing a 71MH for 2 weeks (3 solid trips) and it spanks a Veritas in every way possible. Fit and finish are way better on my Omen, and the action is obscenely better than my 7' MH (non-micro) Veritas. Not micro guides...though they do seem smaller than most production rods.

I have two Veritas rods and can't fathom picking them back up, I'm heading back into Woods and Water to get the 7'3" H for slop fishing in the semi near future (deer stand is calling my name currently).
