Believe it or not there are times when it takes this much weight to get through the vegetation to the monsters below. It's not often and usually late in the summer but canopies in the south can get very entwined with a variety of vegetation making them almost impossible to get through. But when you see the vegetation lift and fall, you know there is a green lockness monster lurking below and this is the weight to get you there :-*

Heck some of the lakes here in Florida you need that much weight right now in the dead of winter and our 80deg days

Both of my boaters at Toho a couple weeks ago were using 2 oz, some guys there were using 2.5 or 3.
I wasn't getting through the middle of them with 1.5 haha
