Alright I have a '08 Alpha199.  On the forward part of the trailer there is the placard that has the legend website on it, which lights up green.  One side has gone out and I have no idea how to replace/check the bulb.  The placard looks to be riveted on...Anyone ever done this before?  ~b~

There are no bulbs. The backing glows when electrical current is applied. Do you have the gray or chrome trim? They had some issues with the gray bezeled ones and switched to the chrome which had an updated power supply.

They are riveted on. You can drill out the rivets and check the connections. Sometimes a wire may have popped out of the connection. You can always reinstall it with self tapping metal screws or just put in a couple more rivets.

Contact EZ Loader trailers and have the serial number of the trailer handy. They can get you a replacement if needed.

Are you talking about the trim around the lights?  If so it almost looks a greenish, but I suppose more gray than chrome.  This is Russ's old boat, if that helps you any.  I will try to pull it apart this week, hopefully the connection has just come loose....

That would be the gray ones. Check out the wiring before calling EZ Loader.

Well I pulled the light off and all the wires were good and connected.  Looks like I will have to call EZ Loader and see how much it's gonna cost to send a new one.  Thanks for the help BassBUFF.

Hey Justin, just saw your thread.
In case you haven't tried this, make sure you have a real good ground. The right side would flicker and I would wiggle the light and it would come back on. I think the ground of bad.

Russ, I just saw this post.  I'll check it out tomorrow, it is the right side that isn't coming on.
