FYI I was told there should be a handheld portable version out before Christmas.

I think you are doing things just right. It's me who needs to improve my financial situation drastically, but you know, I'm married so I'm fighting an uphill battle.  I will be on the lookout for that portable version though. Can't hurt my shore fishing any.
