New lights on my Ranger

 Over the course of this year I have done some upgrades to my boat. One was the lights, I do a lot of night fishing. One of the things that bugged me was having to get the lights out of the locker and lock them in. Now you Rangers owners know man that is a long light in the rear and if you have a partner in the boat all you hear all night is his rod banging into it(most times it is one of my rods being banged).

So I ordered the nav kit from BW and got a rear light from a pontoon and cut it down. I wired the front light into the front socket and did the rear the same. I did add a quick disconnect to the rear so i can remove the engine cowling.. Now all i have to do is hit the switch anytime i need lights and don't have to move out of my seat. If for some reason the lights fail I can just install the stock ones.

I absolutely love the Rub Rail Lights . I also think that I'm gonna be drilling holes in my Mercury cowling pretty soon too ! I can't tell but did you also install the fluorescent lights in the rub rail as well ? Or do you use them at all night fishing ?

  I haven't done the UV lights yet, i want to see some in person before i buy some.

I have UV lights on each side of my rub rails and just love em. They light up Floro line like you would not believe. Great for night fishing. I will post some shots this evening,,,,
