sent off one of my 'babies' to Mike for some TLC.  sent in pieces, came back as a solid, functioning unit

mike you asked what I thought of the super-tuning:  it's amazing and love it.  have always appreciated your help when I send a sick reel to the doctor.  too happy about it to just drop a PM.Great work and I appreciate the service.

Actually it would be better to send them to Mike before they get sick. Yes, he does very good work.

Great news  ~c~ ~c~

Putting them back together is not an issue if all the pieces are there, and you made sure of that.

The tuning is the fun part of my job, making little race cars out of them ~bb

Those E series reels are so nice.. I've got 2 Curados and 2 Citacas . I would never part with them.

I suspect when it's time to hang it up, hopefully in another 20 years or more, those reels may still be 'sell-able'.  not as relics, antiques, but as functioning, desirable reels.
