 Had a buddy tell me that two guides got into an argument down there and a gun was pulled. Have had Deputys in the parking lot for a few days.  Pretty sad state of affairs if it happened, and I have no reason to doubt it. Seems one guide was fishing the other guides spot.

I've always wondered about that, meaning one's " spot". I understand if you're already fishing it but if not, it's public property so to speak. And again, I get the courtesy part.
Good thing the gun wasn't used.

Stupid is, what Stupid does!  What an easy way to ruin a bunch of lives!  This is not the Wild West!

For some reason, some guides think they own the water. Now if the guide was fishing the spot and the other guy came up and started fishing it, that is 1000% wrong. If the guy was there fishing and the guide came up on him fishing and they proceeded to get into it, the guide is 1000% wrong. We have become a society where an argument is settled with a gun rather than talking it out, this is another black eye for bass fisherman.

Sounds like neither one of them knows  how to find fish.  And they are both idiots.

I'm glad no one was hurt.

I have a feeling I know who this one is. He has had issues before.  He is a little over the top.

Can you imagine if you hired one of these guys and this happened.  I would tell them to take me back right now.  No tip, and I would tell every person I could, everyday I could, on every site I could!  The guy pulling the gun is a disgrace!
