No Excuses

Me and Pop mashed on em Saturday! Caught 16, best 5 a little less than 15lbs. Around the 8 minute mark I had a big blow up. She hit 2 more times. I nicked her the third time and she shut down. I was blind casting to a bed, not sight fishing. I didn't even know it was there the first time. Fast forward to Sunday afternoon.... Let's just say revenge is a dish best served Watermelon Red..... Enjoy!

Mark, congrats to you and your dad on another successful outing.   Tks for sharing the trip and video with us also  ;)

That sure is beautiful looking body of water there.  Does the Arkansas fish and wildlife manage that fishery?

Thanks Donald. Yes AGFC is over it, but it's not trophy managed. Lower White Oak, just across the levee, where I do  my summer brushpile fishing is trophy managed. We've gone thru all phases of the slot, 13-16, 16-18, 18-21, and now it's 1 fish over 20" can be kept. I don't like that because you can keep 9 that are 19.75"   Seems counterproductive.
