Fishing Report

Hey, thought I would start up this one to post Recent fishing reports.  It will help with letting other members know how good or bad the fishing is in a certain spot.

Okay,  guess I will be the first one to post.  Seminole was awesome.  we had a good time and the motor and boat is still in one piece.  It was a little tricky getting around, but with patience its really not that bad. First the seminole lodge store was closed when we got there at 0645, so we werent able to pick up a georgia one day pass.  So we just launched from the park next door.  We fished the lake area and the Chattahoochee---We caught about 15 with about 6 or 7 keepers.  Tami caught the biggest fish.  dont know the weight cause we dont have a scale but was around 3.5lbs. approx.  we didnt go up the flint river side due to no georgia license.

There is a thread for Florida Bass fishing reports (and Georgia) . It already has a few lakes listed in it but you are more than welcome to add lakes if the one you are fishing is not there. Everyone on the forum would love to see a few reports coming out of Florida.

 ~c~yes please report from Fla. I need to know because we might be joining you down there someday. Can anyone tell me about OKEECHOBEE.
We are planning a vacation there soon as soon as we find a good reasonably priced place to stay. We heard of one called "Gator Hotel" it seems you can't dangle your feet in the water at the boat dock for some reason....... ........ .........

Steve, sounds like you had a good time. I'm not sure why the lodge wasn't open. I will call Monte and Becky and see what's going on. Glad you guys had a good, safe trip.

Scott,  yea it couldnt have been a better day. were you able to make it to gantt?  how was it?  yea im not sure why they werent open we got there around 630 and waited around for about 15 minutes and no sign of anyone.

I made it to Gantt. I posted the worthless report on the Alabama reports page. Not much to say. It was terrible. Pouring rain followed by blue bird skies. Wish I had gone to Seminole with you on Saturday.
