OK, response to the kit idea has been good, so, I would like to know what all of you would like to see included in the kit as far as colors go. There will be 3 kits available. One for clear water, one for stained water and one for dark or muddy water. My idea of these kits may differ from yours, so I would like to know your opinions on colors. I was also wondering if you would like 2 each of 5 skirt colors or 10 differant colors. The reason why I am asking for your input on this is because as a tackle buying fisherman myself, I rarely purchase a "kit" because they seldom have the colors that I prefer. They might have 1 or 2 but the rest I would never use. I want my kit to get used, all of it!!! So give me your opinions and I will give you mine. I might even be able to put together custom packages if time is not an issue. I usually ship my products the same day so by adding the custom kit factor it may take a day or two, possibly longer if certain colors are on backorder. I just want to be sure that everyone is getting exactly what they want and are happy with their purchase. Thanks in advance for your responses,
Karl

My first question is do you have silver and bronze blades?  A lot of people prefer one over the other and also like to switch it up abit.  Secondaly do you have different weight sizes for your lead heads.  This could be another option maybe have a deep water kit with heavy lead heads(even though most people work them close to the surface) and I think two of each of the skirt colors would be good to.  The best idea I think you have hade though is to have a custom order.  I was actually thinking that before I read it.  Also maybe a sampler kit with 1-3 baits of each the clear, stained and dark water for people that fish a lot of both instead of buying both kits right off the bat they might buy the sampler see what works best for them and then come running back for more.

I like the look of the kits as they stand.  A good mix for the water conditions noted.

OK, to answer your first question. I do have many colors of prism die-cut colored blade tape available. These could be purchased separately.
Second, as far as weights go, my production mold is 3/8 ounce, 1/4 and 1/2 take more time right now. Maybe later on I can add this as an option but for the time being 3/8 is the only cost effective weight I can provide. One thing you have to realize is that my 3/8 will run slightly deeper than my competitors. This was part of my design. I didn't like the others because they rode up out of the water if you tried to speed up your retrieve. I have worked a 3/8oz blade at 24 foot deep by using the countdown method and then swimming it back to the boat in a jigging fashion.
Third, I like the Idea of a sampler pack  ~c~ This is something I am going to look into once these kits are figured out. One thing at a time  ;)

mjluddenjr and OHbassaholic, that means a lot coming from you guys  :) I'm glad my color choices agree with top notch fishermen as yourselves  ;)

I haven't got to use one of yours yet, but I agree with you that I didn't like it when others came out of the water.  If you already have that part taken care of then thats great ~c~

Buzbait88 one of the demonstrations I like to do for folks I meet up with on the water is to cast a 1/2 oz out, point the rod at the water and with a 6.3 to 1 reel it back as fast as I can and it seldom will brake the surface.

Now with the 3/8 you can't do that but you can work it as fast if not faster then burning a same size spinnerbait in the water.  And the wake it makes is outstanding.   :-*
I also use a twitch and wind retrieve.  That is to snap the rod tip down and real up the line quickly and snap down and wind, doing that all the way back to the boat makes the vibrashock dart left and right with a very slight pause and you can work it as fast ans you want.

Still my preferred retrieve is s-l-o-w, make it act like a dumb bait fish out for a swim.  lo

Good luck you won't be sorry if you give one a try.

Any other suggestions before I finalize this project?
