just got my first nitro!!

well, i bought a used nitro 170VSC LX.  it has a merc 125 on it.  i love merc's.  anyway----just wanted to join the gang here and say i am excited to be in my nitro. 

noticed that when i drive the boat, and i start to slow down off plane, the boat leans to the right.  not steer to the right, but actually leans to the right, almost like i was making a hard right turn.  anyone else ever see this in their nitro??  just need to drive it a little more and get the feel for her.

drop it deep and yank it hard.....

My brother in law just got a nitro 700 and it leans to the left at about half throttle when you take off. But once you get 3/4 it levels itself out.

I have the 882NX 150 and it does the same thing.

just wanted to say thanks for the helpful input.  i know that everyboat has certain nuances and i am still learning them for this boat.  thanks again.

I had a Nitro 700 and it would lean also at first.  There is a fin like rudder on the bottom of the motor that is adjustable to help the boat get on plain and steer straight.  check it out with a Nitro dealer.
