 ;D
I have picked July 14, 2008 as the day I'm going to retire. I'd do it now but my wife doesn't want me home yet.
I'll be 64 in Febuary and want to enjoy while I can. I plan on finding a part time job to support my fishing habit but I want to be able to fish 2-3 days a week.

Great news.  I retired January 31, 2006 and am loving it.  I have now gone back to work 3 days a week and it ain't bad.

Congratulations :toot:

I retired on Oct 23, 2007 and haven't stopped to smell the roses yet. It's amazing all the stuff I have had to do. Makes me wonder when I had time to go to work  ~roflmao

congrats on the retirement.       really wish I could set one but alas quite a few years away , but will have a somewhat  early one sort of but just temporary as my workplace is closing down.  I am thinking of taking a few months to go do some fishing and maybe learn how to make fishing lures who knows lol.

my 20 year mark in the AF.....not a day more.  i would rather find a 9 to 5 and enjoy my girls growing up.  i'll only be 38 by then, they will be 11 and 13.....prime fishing age.

I'm halfway there Oct 2008 is my 10 year anniversary in the AF and my retirement date is going to be in Oct 2018 cant wait either.....
