2008... Steel City Bassmasters

Steel City Members,

I just wanted to let all of you know what is happening from the perspective of running the bass club in 2008.

So far, our membership has skyrocketed this year with 15 new members at last count.

That means more boats, higher tournament participation numbers, and better payouts at our first two events.

My preliminary boat count for Table Rock has us at better than 30 boats with more invited fishermen calling me to sign-up every week.

Unfortunately the extended winter and just plain poor, rainy weather has had an influence on our weigh-ins.

Many of the new members (and old members alike) have commented on how much fun the 2008 season has been so far.

Let's keep it up and as always, let me know if you have a question, etc.
