My First Rana Toro Bass

First day fishing with the Rana Toro. Third cast. 2 lb'dr. This fish was caught slow buzzing the Toro.  As I have not seen all the colors, I'm not sure if this was the Cartreuse or the Bullfrog, but the action it gives is better than the Ribbit in my opinion. Was just bank fishing across the street from the house. Caught a total of 5 fish on the morning. Plan on boating it this afternoon. Ole Rana Toro!

Sounds like you did pretty good. My wife and I are going to go again this evening. What you had was the special color that I have not named it. The Olive Green is more bullfrog like.

I'll be at it again this afternoon, too.    Neighbor and I are going out late to try some spots I know. His boat is in his slip so we will be taking it rather than putting mine in at the ramp. I really enjoyed fishing the Rana Toro this morning and want to see how it performs at dusk. The color is Light Lime, like for your Corona.  I like the Chartreuse belly. Gonna take a break from the heat, grab a bite and a nap.

I thought it was more of a yellow than a chartreuse, but maybe we got a different one. I got to try it out yesterday and I love the action. It's definitely the biggest soft plastic frog I've thrown. I think the best part is how soft the body is, which I think will help on hook-sets. Nice bass buddy! I think it'd make a nice leopard frog. I'm getting ready to post more on it in catch of the day, although I didn't get any on this El Grande lure....

I got some minnows poured in the color you had and my neighbor scored a 4 - 5 lb'r on one this evening. Didn't think about posting in catch of the day. OH WELL.

Awesome! It's definitely one of my favorite colors for the Minnow.
