This was my last fishing for the next 5 weeks or so as I have to go back to work  :'( :'(
Fishing was very tough again.
I started at the stream flipping jigs into cover and caught 2 bass and lost/missed several others. The bass were taking the jigs as they dropped so tight lines were needed.

This one went 47cm / 18.5 inch and 2lb 10oz

and this one was 16 inch

As the wind got stronger, I couldn't keep my little boat steady even with the anchor, so I packed up and went to a nearby lake.
I was throwing frogs over the water chestnuts and had several blow-ups which I missed  :bang :bang
I did manage to catch 3 fish, but only one of them was a bass.

2 snakeheads

and one 14 inch bass

chewy69, where I was fishing was around 3 hours away from Kunsan AB, but there are other lakes very close by Kunsan AB.

Take a look at this link ===>>> http://www.ultimatebass.com/bass-fishing-forum/index.php?topic=49273.0

This lake is located about a 5~10 minute taxi ride from the AB and has tons of bass. Silversalmon who is a member and staff here is also based at the Kunsan AB and should along soon to help you a little more.

When I was in Korea I remember seeing a few shows on tv talking about how bass fishing was picking up. But because I was a youngin at that time I couldnt really get out and do any fishing. My girlfriend wants to go there and I might go there in a few years to see the family. My uncle loves to fish, mostly saltwater though.

Nice bass and I didn't know there was snakehead in korea. They can take the winters?

Thanks RB. Snakeheads are actually a native Korean spieces  ~fff  and seem to handle the winters very well.
