Talking to a few setup pros and looking at the" for sale" classified and a little personal experience I wonder why the raker ll has such a problem coming out of the hole. Most people like the top end but it doesn't seem that no matter how one plays with the vent plugs it doesn't result in an acceptable hole shot. I have a 08 250 HO e-tec on an 04 stratos running a trophy plus 25p with too much fishing gear onboard.
Any one have any experience or comments that could help here. I'd like a three bladed prop as they don't wrap up with grass so bad on Lake Seminole.

They perform alot better on smaller boats. I don't think it would be a good prop for the Stratos.

The holeshot of the Raker II is mainly because of the cup design. You may want to try a Merc Tempest if you are interested in a three bladed prop.
