Has anyone seen or used this rod yet...they came into the Dicks that i work at today and i picked one up...i got the 7ft M spinning and was thinking about using it as just kinda an all around backup spinning rod...but i want to put braid on it...anybody know if that would be a good idea or would the braid just chew right through it?

They seem like pretty nice rods for $30 bucks. I have used a lightning rod w/ power pro for some time now and have not had an issue with the line wearing out the eyes. I know its not the same rod but its the same brand and around the same price.
